September Travel Skincare: The Yves Rocher Essentials I Bring When Traveling from Hong Kong

Estimated read time 6 min read

Every September, I start thinking seriously about my next trip. For me, September in Hong Kong can still feel a little warm and humid, but compared with the middle of summer, I can already feel the weather slowly changing.

I find this time of year perfect for a short getaway. I might go shopping in Tokyo or Seoul, or simply book a comfortable hotel for a few nights and take a break from my usual routine.Whenever I prepare for a trip, I also like to reorganize my skincare and personal care bag.

I used to think that I needed to bring as many skincare products as possible. Eventually, I realized that I actually only use a few of them when I’m traveling. Now, I prefer to choose carefully, bringing products that genuinely suit me without making my suitcase unnecessarily heavy. This time, I decided to bring three Yves Rocher products with me.

01|Yves Rocher Glow Energie The Radiance Cream

The first product I chose is the Yves Rocher Glow Energie The Radiance Cream. When I’m traveling, my routine can easily get disrupted. I might spend the whole day walking around and exploring, then stay up later than usual at night. Because of that, I prefer to keep my skincare routine simple, but I still don’t want to skip it completely.

I like the Yves Rocher Glow Energie range because it feels easy to incorporate into my routine. I usually use the cream as the final step of my evening skincare, after cleansing my face, before I settle down for the night.

For me, skincare while traveling doesn’t need to be complicated. I actually enjoy taking a few quiet minutes in my hotel room after showering and changing into my pajamas, then slowly going through my skincare routine. Even though it only takes a few minutes, it helps me transition out of the busy pace of the day.

The Yves Rocher Glow Energie range is also available through the Yves Rocher Hong Kong website. For me, products like this work well as part of a travel skincare routine because I can maintain a familiar ritual without spending too much time on it.

02|Yves Rocher Moroccan Argan Body & Hair Oil

The second product that I find particularly practical is the Yves Rocher Moroccan Argan Body & Hair Oil.I didn’t used to think much about bringing both body and hair care products when traveling. Eventually, I realized that what really bothers me is having to pack too many different bottles.

So when I came across a nourishing oil that I can use for both my body and hair, my first thought was: this is perfect for traveling.I especially enjoy using it after my evening shower. I’ll apply a little to my body and then use a small amount on the ends of my hair. The whole routine feels incredibly relaxing to me.

When I’m traveling in September, I also tend to spend a lot of time in air-conditioned environments, so I personally enjoy having something that gives me a more nourishing feeling.I also love the little sense of ritual it brings to my trip. During the day, I might be rushing from one place to another, but once I return to the hotel, I can finally slow down, take a shower, do my skincare and hair care, and then simply lie down and relax.

The size of the Yves Rocher Moroccan Argan Body & Hair Oil also feels manageable for my travel bag. I don’t like bringing too many things on a short trip, so having one product that can be used for both body and hair care makes it especially practical for me.

03|Yves Rocher Monoï Hand Cream 30ml

The third product is one that I now really enjoy bringing with me whenever I travel: the Yves Rocher Monoï Hand Cream 30ml.Hand cream used to be something I never considered essential for travel, but my habits have definitely changed.

When I travel from Hong Kong, I’m constantly handling my luggage, using public transportation, visiting restaurants and checking into hotels. Add the air conditioning on flights and in hotel rooms, and I often find myself washing my hands frequently or simply wanting to give my hands a little extra care.

So now I always keep a small hand cream in my personal bag.One reason I like the Yves Rocher Monoï Hand Cream is its 30 ml size. It’s easy for me to carry around, and it doesn’t feel like I’m adding another bulky product to my luggage. Whenever I need it, I can simply take it out and use it.

I especially like using it during flights. For me, the time spent on a plane can actually be one of the few moments when I can truly slow down. I’ll put on my headphones, watch a movie or listen to music, and apply a little hand cream at the same time. It’s such a simple thing, but it makes me feel like I’m taking a moment to look after myself.

My September Travel Care Bag Really Doesn’t Need to Be Full

After packing everything for this trip, I’ve realized that I increasingly prefer this simple way of traveling. In my Yves Rocher care bag, I’ll keep the Glow Energie The Radiance Cream for my basic evening skincare routine, while the Yves Rocher Moroccan Argan Body & Hair Oil takes care of both my body and hair.

As for the Yves Rocher Monoï Hand Cream, I’ll keep it directly in my personal bag so I can reach for it whenever I need it, whether I’m on the plane, sitting in a restaurant or walking around while exploring the city. For me, these three Yves Rocher products cover the things I care about most when traveling.

I don’t need to bring an entire collection of complicated skincare products, and I don’t want my personal care routine to become another burden during a trip. I much prefer returning to my hotel at night, taking some time for myself, showering, doing my skincare and hair care, and then simply relaxing in bed.

I’ve gradually realized that what makes me happiest about traveling isn’t just where I go. It’s also the chance to slow down and temporarily step away from my usual pace of life. And for me, Yves Rocher has become a small part of that travel rhythm.

When I leave Hong Kong for a trip, I don’t just want to bring a few nice outfits and my camera. I also want to bring along some familiar routines from home. Even if I’m only away for three to five days, I still want to take care of myself and enjoy the time I’ve set aside for traveling. So now, when I pack my skincare and personal care products for a September trip, I simply keep the Yves Rocher products I genuinely love and know I’ll use, then head off with a lighter suitcase and enjoy the journey.
